Suit, shirt and tie are the symbols of masculine elegance, the motto of the office and the basis of any wardrobe. One of the most frequently asked questions is how you can correctly associate 3 elements. We can consider 3 levels of difficulty.

Very easy: choose a suit, shirt and ties without stripes, polka dots or drawings, in a single solid color. In this case, there are the 2 simplest combinations using a white shirt: a dark suit and a light tie, or the other way around a light suit and a dark tie. The third alternative is somewhat more complicated: it involves making a succession of colors, starting with a light suit, putting on a slightly darker shirt and completing everything with a very dark tie.

Difficult: Things get a little more complicated if one of the pieces (the suit, the shirt or the tie) has a pattern, with lines, squares, polka dots, etc. 2 other pieces: if for example you have a blue tie with white polka dots, the most appropriate would be a white shirt. The other way around, you can also put a blue striped shirt with a blue tie.

VERY difficult: it is about combining 2 different types of drawings (for example, tie with polka dots and striped shirt), better if they share a color to help in the transition. Another very complicated solution is to choose similar designs, but on a different scale (for example, shirt with small stripes and tie with large stripes). If two of the three items (suit, shirt, and tie) are patterned, at least the third should be a solid color.

Outcome:

To see the final result, the easiest way is to put everything on the bed or table, starting with the largest piece (the suit), then choosing the shirt and finally the tie.
